Shipping & Returns
At Hair District, each unit is custom-made and prepared exclusively for you. To ensure every wig meets our quality standards, all orders are subject to a 10–15 business day processing period before shipment. Processing time includes the creation, customization, quality inspection, and preparation of your unit.

Shipping Policy
Order Amendments
Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to make changes to the shipping address, shipping method, or items within the order.
Address Verification
Please ensure all shipping information is correct before completing your purchase. Hair District cannot be held responsible for orders delayed, lost, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete shipping details provided at checkout.
Lost or Missing Parcels
Once your order has been handed to the courier, delivery becomes the responsibility of the shipping provider. If you believe your parcel has been lost or misplaced, we recommend contacting the courier directly to initiate a claim.
Delivered Orders
We are unable to issue refunds or replacements for orders marked as “Delivered” by the courier. If your tracking information shows delivery but you have not received your parcel, please contact your local delivery office for assistance.
Tracking Information
Tracking details will be sent to the email address used at checkout once your order has been dispatched. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to update within the courier’s system.
International Orders
Orders shipped outside the United Kingdom may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and additional fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are determined by local customs authorities and remain the responsibility of the customer. Hair District has no control over these charges and they are not included in the shipping costs at checkout.
Returns & Exchanges
At Hair District, every wig is custom-made and tailored to our signature standards upon purchase. As each unit is created specifically for you, all sales are considered final.
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, personalised and made-to-order items are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period.
Due to the bespoke nature of our products and for hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds unless an item is received faulty or damaged.
Return Eligibility
For hygiene and quality assurance purposes, wigs cannot be returned if:
- The lace has been cut, tinted, or altered in any way.
- The wig has been worn, installed, styled, washed, or modified.
- Any tags, labels, or hygiene seals have been removed.
- The product has been damaged due to improper handling or care.
Faulty Items
If you believe you have received a faulty item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the issue. Our team will review your claim and advise on the next steps.
We strongly encourage customers to review all product specifications, customisation options, and order details carefully before completing their purchase.
By placing an order with Hair District, you acknowledge and agree that your wig is made to order and is non-refundable unless deemed faulty upon inspection.

How to Measure Your Head
Using a soft measuring tape, measure around the circumference of your head.
- Place the tape measure at the centre of your hairline.
- Wrap it around your head, ensuring it sits just above your ears.
- Continue around the nape of your neck.
- Bring the tape back to the starting point at your hairline.
The measurement in inches will determine your cap size.

Unless otherwise stated, these units are made using straight hair that has been heat styled. The wave or curl pattern is temporary and may loosen or disappear after brushing, washing, or regular wear.
We recommend using heat styling tools to recreate your desired look when necessary.
Length Disclaimer
When selecting your preferred hair length, please keep in mind that styling can affect the final appearance and visible length of the hair.
Curled or waved hairstyles will appear shorter than straight hair of the same length.
As a general guide:
- Curls and waves can reduce the visible length by approximately 2–4 inches.
- For example, if you desire a curled look that falls at 26 inches, we recommend selecting a straight length of 28–30 inches.
For the most accurate length representation, all hair lengths are measured in their straightened state.

Can I still use glue if I want to?
Yes.
While Hair District wigs are designed for effortless glueless wear, you can absolutely use adhesive if you prefer a more melted or long-lasting finish.
The glueless design simply gives you the freedom to choose how you install your wig , with or without glue.
Does the hair hold a curl?
Yes.
Hair District wigs are made using high-quality human hair designed to hold curls beautifully when styled correctly.
Curl longevity depends on your styling technique and the products used.

How is the wig glueless?
Each Hair District wig is designed with a secure, adjustable elastic band discreetly built into the cap construction.
When adjusted at the back of the head, the band creates gentle tension that holds the lace flat against the skin, allowing the wig to sit securely, naturally, and comfortably without the need for glue.
